The Persona Series may have been a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series, but it has truly Stood out on its own. Moreover, Persona 5 has been the entry to make the series go global and become even bigger. With several versions and spin-offs of Persona 5 as it was it seemed like there was nothing more that could be done. Then Persona 5 the Phantom X was announced and everything changed!
The game is coming from a Chinese developer Black Wings Game Studio, coming from Perfect World Games. The game is officially licensed by Sega and Atlus so it is the real deal. Now the question is what do we know about P5X?
So far there is a few details about Persona 5 The Phantom X. Capturing all the look and feel of persona with the same stylized visual. This mobile game is hard at work trying to replicate Persona 5 and it should be. As the original character creator was even providing the designs for the characters himself.

The new main protagonist is a second-year student at Kiba Academy. He lives by himself in Tokyo while his parents are traveling abroad. One day he experiences an event that awakens his persona. He then meets an owl, named Luffy. Luffy can speak human languages and is able to transform. Their knowledge of the other world is vast and helps the main protagonist.
Focusing heavily on the theme of desire, the gameplay plays like what fans of Persona 5 would imagine. Such as the daily life segments, building relationships with confidants, and more. However, this free-to-play mobile game is said to have in-game transactions, so this game may be a heavily inspired gacha game. For now, though it looks promising. so just keep your eye as we learn more about the game. You can read about the game on the Official P5X website.
