Slave Zero X Adds Two Talented Voice Actors Control 2 Confirmed By Remedy COD DMZ Needs An Item Storage Deadside, A Mix Of Rust and DayZ Save Room Review

Remember the year 1998. At that time, Square Enix unveiled Parasite Eve to the world. The video game is a continuation of the same-titled novel by Hideaki Sena. For those who are unsure or wish to review the plot, you take on the role of Aya Brea, a police officer in New York City. Aya has to stop 1997 Eve from utilizing spontaneous human combustion to wipe out the whole human species in this six-day story that takes place in 1997.

Parasite Eve spawned two sequels. The second has Aya back once again dealing with yet another outbreak of Neo-Mitochondrial creatures. The other game in the series is The 3rd Birthday which reintroduced Aya to gamers. So why bring this franchise up? The story stems from a trademark filed by Square Enix last week. This was posted on Twitter by Wario64.

Parasite Eve And What This News Means

The trademark they filed was called Symbiogenesis. For many that may not mean anything. However, the definition of the word is interesting. According to the article Wario64 references by Gematsu, it means “the merging of two separate organisms to form a single new organism.”. Which is funnily enough the basis of the original novel back in 1995. Naturally, this is all a rumor at present but it’s certainly something worth monitoring. If it is being remade or rebooted it’s certainly a period where the older games are returning especially with Konami announcing a Silent Hill 2 remake.
