I am usually drawn to mechanics such as farming, survival, dungeon diving, cooking, and crafting. But when you add creatures that remind me of Pokemon, I’m immediately sold. Palworld is being developed and published by Pocket Pair, Inc., the same company that created Craftopia. On January 19, 2024, this survival and monster-raising game will be available on Steam through Early Access and also available on day one on Game Pass. Palworld has been on my mind since I first watched a video of a monster holding a massive machine gun. To be entirely honest, I didn’t believe this game was real until Palworld debuted a trailer at Summer Game Fest 2023.
The only reason this game’s legitimacy was called into question was because it combines so many great game mechanics in one title. Also, the monsters have a Pokemon-like design. This game features a breeding system, multiplayer mode, and the chance to poach rare monsters or Pals. The graphics are amazing, and the third-person over-the-shoulder shooting looks engaging.

Palworld Release Date Trailer
The candid acceptance of Pal’s work to make things easy is hilarious. The building structures portion of the Steam page basically states that you should not worry about overworking your Pal because there are no labor laws for them. This game appears to be a South Park version of Pokemon, and I am eager to play it. Battles, monster catching, training, and base construction are enough to occupy my free time. But then you combine breeding and poaching in a multiplayer world full of Pals and you have someone who is going to play this day one!
Prepare to go from hunting and fighting Pals with basic bows and spears to advanced assault rifles and rocket launchers. Palworld will be released as early access on PC via Steam and for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on January 19, 2024.
