Square Enix is bringing its newest game to the streaming service Stadia. While they did close the in-game studio, Stadia is still adding games from outside developers. Outriders will be coming this year.
Outriders are the new RPG-shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix that will be coming to all the major consoles. The game will be coming out on April 1st. Look for it on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
A demo of the game will be coming out on all consoles and PC. Look for it next week on February 25th. This will hopefully show us some great moments. Some demos in the past have been actually been a problem for the excitement of a game. They can cause a large group of players to never pick that title up.
We’re excited to team with Google to bring OUTRIDERS to Stadia with Stadia exclusive features and the highest levels of performance, allowing players to get the best experience on all supported devices,” said Jon Brooke, Co-Head of Studio at Square Enix External Studios.
April Fools for Outriders?
Since the game will be released on April 1st, it seemed like it might be a joke that Outriders is coming to Stadia. Actually, here is a list of games that are on sale for the Stadia. The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is also coming to the service. Players can pre-order the expansion right now.
