Originally releasing in 2009, Coraline has grossed almost $186 million collectively. Back on Thanksgiving day, Nov 28 2024, LAIKA released Coraline: Evade the Others on Roblox. This time with LAIKA re-releasing the film which took in another $56 million. Since the launch on ROBLOX, Coraline: Evade the Others has passed 18 million visits and is one of the most visited game titles based on an animated film on the Roblox Platform.
The title also sits at a 90%+ rating and regularly surpasses 5,000 concurrent users. The title is also playable on iOS, Android, and Mac. To time with the celebration, a new Coraline avatar is now available for purchase in the game and on the Roblox marketplace. Developed in partnership with Toya, the title quickly gained traction to become one of the top film based games of all time on Roblox.
Coraline: Evade the Others is essentially a live service title with regular monthly updates that look to expand gameplay, characters, and environments. In less than 6 weeks, the game has attracted over 17.5 million visits and has over 300,000 average daily users.
