Believe me when I say during these times I would not be surprised if Microsoft bought out Sega at some point. Coming off the heels of the ground shacking announcement that Microsoft has purchased ZeniMax, the parent company of Bethesda, the gaming community has been on high alert. The rumor of a Sega acquisition by Microsoft is not a new one. Over the past year internet, sleuths have tried to piece together information to form this alliance. However, nothing concrete has ever surfaced to say there is even a conversation happening.
With Xbox opening Tokyo Game Show with a 50-minute presentation many believed this is the moment all the rumors become reality. Sadly, you will have to hold tightly to this rumor for a while longer. Today via twitter the official Xbox handle assured us there will be no acquisition news at the conference.
