During the Triple-i Showcase, CloverPit stealth dropped the Unholy Fusion DLC! It’s available now on Steam, Xbox, and mobile. Alongside the DLC, the base game also received a free update that adds an online leaderboard. CloverPit has been described as a mixture of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette. Players hope to hit the jackpot and pay off their debt to escape a hellish prison. This process is accomplished by manipulating the slot machine and using those extra coins to unlock different prizes and charms that trigger epic combos.
I saw the original game crop up constantly on my YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram feeds, so this was my chance to finally take a crack at the demo. My first couple of runs went poorly, and I would get plunged into the pit. I absolutely tried to see if there was a jump button to avoid my fate, but I suppose whatever captor puts you in this predicament planned accordingly. On one of my runs, I realized there was a toilet right next to the charms area. I laughed pretty hard that you had options to take a number 1 and a number 2, and you’d get unlocks. It’s the little things.
