Borderlands 4 just dropped a new Holiday Bounty Pack and the best part it is free! “Rush Saved Mercenary Day,” is now free for everyone who owns the game. This special holiday pack lets players team up with Rush, the friendly leader of the Outbounders, to stop the cranky Minister Screw and bring joy back to the world of Kairos.

The team wanted players to enjoy this holiday pack before the end of the year. but they ran out of time. So as a thank you to the community, they decided to give Bounty Pack 1 away for free. It comes with new missions, new rewards, and lots of fun ways to earn cool cosmetic items and gear. Once you download the newest update, you can grab the pack by finding the gift wrapped present marked on your map.

Even better, 2K and Gearbox announced that a fifth Bounty Pack is coming in the future. This update will be free to those who already bought the Bounty Pack Bundle. Bounty Packs usually include new looks for your Vault Hunter, more loot to chase, and short story missions you can play at any time.

There’s also more free content on the way. In mid-December, players will face Bloomreaper the Invincible, the first super tough boss in Borderlands 4. This boss has huge health, strong attacks, and rewards brave players with powerful new Legendary gear.

Gearbox says they are committed to making Borderlands 4 better and will keep releasing updates, new missions, and exciting challenges for all players. The game is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
