The president of Naughty Dog took to their website to announce a major studio update. Firstly Evan Wells announced that joining him as the studio’s Co-President is Neil Druckmann. He also took the opportunity to announce two more promotions for Christian Gyrling and Alison Mori. Both received a promotion to the role of Vice President. Neil Druckmann did comment briefly on his new role via Twitter and then followed up to take the opportunity in congratulating both Christian Gyrling (previously holding the role of Co-Director of Programming) and Alison Mori (previously the Director of Operations) in their promotions as well confirm he will still be writing and directing for the studio
Oh… and I’ll still be directing and writing while helping to mentor the next wave of creators. ♥️

Gamers themselves won’t really see much of a change in regards to the final end product. The reason for this is Neil Druckmann previously had a key part in all creative output in the studio and is involved in pretty much every project going. One of these is the new upcoming HBO series for The Last Of Us.
Evan Wells closed the announcement however with a closing statement praising the team and congratulating the promotions
We have such an incredible team at Naughty Dog and being able to work alongside each and every one of them is especially meaningful these days. I feel proud of the team when I’m able to recognize their accomplishments and contributions to the studio. Please join me in giving them all a big congratulations!
