Revealed at Future Games Show, The Last Caretaker, is a survival action game that takes place on an endless ocean. The title is developed by Channel37. The Last Caretaker takes place on an Earth that has become entirely covered in water. But mysteries linger regarding lost technology and the remnants of humanity. Players will have to explore the ocean, scavenge parts, discover lost knowledge, and survive upon the waves. Check out the awesome trailer! You play as The Last Caretaker where you are tasked with ensuring the survival of the last of humanity. Locations called “Seed Vaults,” contain the last human embryos as they await to be rescued from the watery planet and voyage into space. However, all is not as it seems. We love a good mystery.

The Last Caretaker aims to release in Early Access on Steam and Epic Games Store later this year. A console release has been confirmed, but no word of when that will occur. In addition the the reveal trailer, Kinda Funny Games hosted a Q&A at the MIX’ Spring Summer Showcase where you are introduced to The Last Caretaker’s community manager and learn more about the watery world the game takes place in.
