Back in September 2024, we had the first episode of the Backlog Barbarians go live on the LV1 Gaming YouTube. The sole purpose of this show is to talk about the games we are playing and need to play from our ever-growing backlog of games. The usual hosts of the show are GeekLifeMike from GStyleMag, King Julian from TRUNRD, and myself, but we occasionally invite a guest to join us. Being able to sit back every other week and just gab about the games we are playing has been, honestly, therapeutic. Not worrying about news of the week, drama from a publisher, or which CEO needs to take a huge step back is good medicine for my gamer soul, and folks looking for that type of podcast can find it on the LV1 Gaming Podcast Wednesdays at 4 PM PST.
Enough of that. To be real, I am writing this blog as a way to promote the show and to keep track of the games I have completed off my backlog since we have started the show. I might even do a ranking system, like, “Should have played it day one,” “Glad I waited.” Still workshopping those, so for now here are the games I have rolled credits on or decided to stop playing for a specific reason.
