The Pokémon Company has unveiled further information regarding the highly anticipated Pokémon Trading Card Game: Pokémon GO expansion, which will be released on July 1, 2022, all over the world.
Fans will be able to play with cards featuring beautiful artwork and various gameplay settings inspired by the Pokémon GO app as part of this collaboration. Certain cards depict Pokémon in scenes that are familiar to the mobile game, such as Blissey valiantly defending a Gym and Aipom dodging a Poké Ball.
The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Pokémon GO Expansion will be released at participating retailers throughout the world, with more releases to follow. Unique promotional cards will be included with some products.
Collectors and players can expect the following:
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box Plus (exclusive to Pokémon Center and now available for preorder in the US, Canada and the UK until June 24, 2022, includes one foil promo card featuring Mewtwo V)
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Elite Trainer Box (includes one foil promo card featuring Mewtwo V)
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Premium Collection—Radiant Eevee (now available for preorder at Pokémon Center in the US, Canada and the UK until June 24, 2022, includes one foil promo card featuring Radiant Eevee)
- Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO Special Collections (includes one of three full-art foil promo cards featuring Spark, Blanche or Candela)
