Modern Warfare 3 Finally Lands On Game Pass

Modern Warfare 3

So it’s no secret that the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is launching in Game Pass. However, we have not heard about any older titles arriving into the service. That was until a recent announcement by Microsoft. The first game to hit the service will be the franchise’s current release, which is the remake for Modern Warfare 3. However, if you want you can read a review of the campaign and the multiplayer aspects of the game.

It’s going to be the first Call of Duty in the service, as Black Ops 6 will launch this October. This release is not going to be the first major Activision release in the service. The first major addition from the Activision acquisition was Diablo 4 back in Spring. So when can we expect Modern Warfare 3 to hit the service and what can we expect to see content-wise.

Modern Warfare 3 In Game Pass – The Details

We won’t have very long to wait as at the time of writing it’s only hours away. This is because the title hits the service on 24th July. As to what time we have no time to give you. We are told in the announcement we are to expect the game on “Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate”. When it arrives all three major modes are available from the campaign, and multiplayer to the revamped open-world zombies mode. However, we don’t know if it will be available in the Game Pass standard tier when the service changes in September as that tier will not see the upcoming release, for that, you will need Ultimate. Will you check out the current Call of Duty when it lands?
