Metaphor: ReFantazio Guidebook Edition Announced for Next Year

I think we can all agree that one of last year’s biggest hits was Metaphor: ReFantazio by Atlus. Not only was it a polished and pristine turn-based game at its core. Its fantasy setting and messaging felt weirdly well-timed with modern-day events. Obviously, in typical Atlus fashion, they do have a tendency to re-release their new games with an updated and better version with fundamental changes. Such as Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. This is not the case for Metaphor.

In their recent 1-year anniversary stream, Atlus announced that there will be a new version of the game for people to buy. This edition will include a few of the cosmetic DLCs and a digital guidebook for players to use as they play. This edition is aptly named the Metaphor: ReFantazio Guidebook Edition. Here is everything you need to know about it before it launches early next year!

Details on the Metaphor: ReFantazio Guidebook Edition

The Guidebook edition will be a 55-page guidebook excerpt, carefully curated and re-edited by Future Press from their printed 592-page complete official game guide. This will allow players to get the help they need without having to flip through a physical book. If they do not have it, that is. Making it easier to find optimal routes for the day-to-day systems featured in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

At this moment, there is no information on how much this newer version will cost. However, if you already have the Atlus 35th anniversary edition on any platform, you will be given it at no extra cost. Also announced during the stream, you can enter a giveaway you can find here to score a signed poster of Metaphor: ReFantazio. But be forewarned, the giveaway ends on October 19th. So, act quickly, or you will lose your chance to get this amazing collector’s item!
