Slave Zero X Adds Two Talented Voice Actors Control 2 Confirmed By Remedy COD DMZ Needs An Item Storage Deadside, A Mix Of Rust and DayZ Save Room Review

If you can, cast your mind back to 2004, or more specifically November that year.  It was then Konami added to one of its iconic franchises.  17th November saw the launch of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.  It may have been the third game released in this franchise but it’s the first game chronologically.  The series began in 1987 with Metal Gear and more recently we saw the 2018 release of Metal Gear Survive.  So if the timeline is confusing, check out the GameRants list of the games in chronological order.  However, why would the third game be making the news recently?

A video was uploaded and then later deleted which seemed to indicate a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 was on the cards.  It’s not the first time we’ve heard this story, however.  We brought this story to your attention last year as it seemed Konami wanted to return to some of their classic IPs.  It seems at the time an anonymous source told VCG were planning to bring remakes or sequels to their biggest franchises.  We have one already confirmed in Silent Hill 2, a return of horror gaming’s most iconic game.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Set To Return. Or Is It?

The video that was removed was seen by AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem on Twitter. Later it was shown to have come from somewhere else by GGFTL.  What they found was the video was by Quixeltools.  Their 4K video on YouTube can be seen below if you’re interested.

Then we have the story of a recruitment video article from MSN.  This video included artwork on a desk of Metal Gear Solid.  When the story originally broke, the video contained Morse Code.  The reason some thought it significant was it gave a date of 8th December. Funny enough that is the date of this year’s Game Awards.  Naturally, this is all rumor and speculation, but this year’s event may or may not have the final say on this story. As always, we love to hear your thoughts. So why not get in touch and share your views?
