Capcom just hosted their newest showcase with plenty of their upcoming titles. One of their biggest upcoming games titles is the MegaMan Battle Network Collection. Not only are we getting every game in the Battle Network series, but we are also getting a suite of new features alongside the game.
During the dedicated MegaMan Battle Network segment we got another small look at the new Battle Network Collection. Mr. Famous, the current lead creator of the Megaman series, talks about some of the upcoming new changes that will be included in all 10 games.
The biggest addition is the inclusion of all 499 patch cards. The patch cards were promotional cards that had unique abilities that were given out only in Japan. Now they will be available on all games starting from Battle Network 4 onwards as an option in the menu.
Along with that, they also introduce a mode called buster MAX. This allows players to have their Mega busters at 100. Making combat easier for those who simply want to enjoy the story of Megaman without the extra difficulty of combat.
The Megaman Battle Network collection will be launching on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and steam. It will, unfortunately, be skipping the Xbox platform, despite the previous Megaman collections being available on the platform.
