Deliver Us Mars is the sequel to Deliver Us the Moon by Keoken Interactive. First announced earlier this year at the Future Games Showcase, we recently got a gameplay trailer and a release date. Just after we got the upgraded version of Deliver Us The Moon for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. If you’ve been following our coverage you’ll know I compared the game on PC to see how ray tracing improved the experience and compared the PC and PlayStation 5 versions.
Deliver Us The Moon for me was a fantastic game so I had high hopes for Deliver Us Mars. When we got a look at gameplay we saw a release date of 27th September. Soon after it was available to preorder with a 10% discount. Even though I found the PlayStation 5 enhancements for Deliver Us The Moon lacking, the sequel was one I am eager to play next month
A Trip To Mars, Being Delivered Later Than Planned
The delay curse has struck again. We only recently saw Hogwarts Legacy delayed and just before I write this, Evil West was delayed. Now it’s the turn of Deliver Us Mars. This is what was said on Twitter earlier
Deliver Us Mars is KeokeN Interactive’s most ambitious project to date. The journey that players will take as Kathy Johanson is packed with deeply emotional moments and fraught with danger. It is important to use that this experience is the best it can be at launch. With this in mind, we’ve collectively made the difficult decision to move the release date to 2nd of February 2023 in order to ensure that we are able to live up to that ambition.
Whilst we understand this news might be disappointing, we are excited for you all to face the challenges of Mars, traverse its hostile environments, and discover the mystery of the ARKs. Your patience will allow us to deliver the best experience we can. In the meantime, we’ll be sharing a fresh look at Deliver Us Mars at the Future Games Show at Gamescom with a brand new trailer on 24th of August 2022.
So there you have it, it now launches on 2nd February for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. We’d love to hear from you about your thoughts on this news.
