The year 2022 looks to be another great year for gamers. With so many big games coming out it’s easy to find a few titles that most players are more excited for. It looks like fans are going to get a possible GoldenEye 007 release this year. Here is a list of Lv1 Gaming’s most anticipated games of 2022.

The game I’m looking forward to most is Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly. The original Coffee Talk was my personal G.O.T.Y for 2020 so the announcement that more was coming was terrific. Episode 2 seems to add new characters to the story as well as get to see what our original cast is up to. In addition to that, I am really hoping for more of the signature relaxing soundtrack. While there is no fixed date as of now, I know this will easily be another homerun from Toge Productions.

There are a few titles that I am super excited about but man it’s hard not to be hype for Starfield. With the simple fact that people are still buying Skyrim, one can only imagine what’s going to happen with Starfield. If it is simply Skyrim in space with better graphics, I will be more than pleased. Hopefully, if there is a delay around Starfield it won’t be for more than a few months. I have been avoiding all their video blogs surrounding the title because I want to be surprised. Bethesda has my trust when it comes to single-player experiences.

2021 draws to a close and it’s given us some wonderful games. However, 2022 is just around the corner and with it already confirmed some amazing titles. February alone is packed with big hitters. But what game is catching my eye the most? This coming year it’s proven a tougher call with three games I’m waiting for hitting in February alone. So after some deliberation, my title follows its predecessor in catching my eye in 2017. That was Horizon Zero Dawn and this February the sequel is finally set to arrive. That is Horizon Forbidden West. The first game I was hooked on and was my Game of the Year back then. And nothing seen from the sequel has dampened my enthusiasm for the sequel. In a year of strong games I am eagerly awaiting from Dying Light 2 to the long-awaited STALKER 2, this is the one just edging the top of my list.

I’m looking to play Elden Ring. That really is the only game that has my attention coming into 2022. A new open-world Dark Souls game with a jump button. I’m sold on that sentence. Take my money and take my free time. Starfield is one of those games that looks to be great. Without much seen at the moment I will probably play it a week or two after it comes out. I know plenty of players would love to pick that game as their most anticipated game of 2022.
