It goes to say that Lord of the Rings is a large IP and the upcoming Gollum has had quite a tumultuous development. Originally planned all the way back in 2021, it recently was on the Nacon showcase with an update that it was still coming. Well over the weekend at PAX East we finally got a confirmation as the Lord of the Rings Gollum release date was finally revealed!
Over the weekend during PAX East, Daedelic Entertainment had a massive showcase at their booth. With many prolific games coming soon. However, one of the most notable has been the long-awaited Gollum. They had the game on display with a demo for all to check out and play, and get hands-on with. The question that was still on everyone’s mind though is when is the game releasing?
They made the announcement during its showcase. Stating that Smeagol will be coming on May 25 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. With a launch on Switch later this year. The announcement can also be seen on their official Twitter account below:
As you can see the wait to get hands-on with the newest entry in the Middle Earth franchise. To say it has been a long time coming is an understatement, but the wait won’t be much longer now.
