When the New Year struck I looked into what was coming in Game Pass throughout the year and had a few games I was really looking forward to. Since then the list has grown with games like Cities Skylines 2 and Exoprimal hitting the service at launch. Some games have been given release windows or now release dates like Lies of P and Starfield. However, sadly some get faced with a delay and this one was one I was looking forward to trying out. The game in question suffering a delay is Lightyear Frontier

This was a farming sim with a difference. It was with mechs. That’s a fairly original take on the genre. It was coming in Spring to Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X/S as an early access title. This is how the Epic Store describes it. “Lightyear Frontier is a peaceful open-world farming adventure on a planet at the far edge of the galaxy. Start your new home on a distant planet with up to three friends as you farm alien crops, build your own homestead, and explore the untamed wilderness of the world. Genres. Simulation. Open World”.

The Reason For The Delay For Lightyear Frontier

We saw an official announcement on Twitter which can be seen below.

So developer Frame Break has delayed the launch with no new window to give us. However, we hope it’s not too long before we have some update but it does sound like it may be some time off.
