Recently, gamers got the news about the Life is Strange Remastered Collection being delayed. These were the remaster’s for the original Life is Strange and the prequel Before the Storm. Now we can provide a bit of an update for the upcoming collection.

LIS Remastered was originally set to release on September 30th, after the new installment of Life is Strange True Colours. Sadly the delay was thanks to the global pandemic.

What is new in this Collection?

As we know it’s a remaster of the original and prequel. Except they enhanced the lighting, added facial motion capture, and gave the engine an update. Giving both

Release Day

Square Enix has announced that it’s not launching too far into the new year. Now the Life is Strange Remastered Collection is arriving on February 1st.

This will appear on Nintendo Switch. The remasters are coming to PC, Nintendo Switch in addition to Xbox and PlayStation consoles. It will also be coming to Stadia.

At the time of writing, no price is showing on the Xbox store or on the Nintendo eShop. Though the PlayStation store has it listed for £32.99/$39.99

If I own the original games is there any upgrade path?

Life is Strange Remastered offers no option. If you want to play the collection you have to buy it. However, if you purchase the ultimate edition of Life is Strange True Colours, the remaster is available as part of that bundle.
