So if you’re a fan of The Sims and the genre itself you may be aware of a competitor. The game in question is Life By You and the developer, Paradox Tectonic, knows a thing or two about the genre. This is the studio founded by Rod Humble. Though fans of The Sims may recognize his name. After all, he gave us The Sims 2 as well as The Sims 3. Therefore this new release will be a game in a genre known extremely well to him.
The most recent update after its announcement was a full reveal towards the end of March. Back then, Life By You was given an early access date. So as we know, this date was set for 12th September. Though we near that date as it’s only a few weeks away and we’ve heard nothing new from Rod Humble and his team at Paradox Tectonic. That was however until just recently. So let’s look a little closer into the release details.
The Latest On Sim Rival Life By You
The latest news was covered recently by Eurogamer. So with that, we bring fans eagerly awaiting the latest life sim by Rod Humble. The news from Paradox Interactive is the game has been delayed. Fans can now expect this to launch next year. The game’s new release date is 5th March 2024. The reasons stated for the delay are that “the additional development time will allow the team to improve areas such as the game’s UI and visuals”. Meaning we have a few more months to wait until the game lands on PC. In the meantime, pre-orders are live on the Epic Store. To wish list the game on Steam then look here. We can hope to see more about what’s improved closer to launch
