Planet of Lana, an upcoming game, piqued my interest last year. So it was the art style that immediately drew my attention. It looked like a game that could offer a more relaxed pace than some games I own. This game had a demo available to try during the Next Fest event. If you’re interested in my thoughts on the demo, have a look here. The game when it launches will be available on PC via Steam as well as a few consoles. Currently, Planet of Lana is only listed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
If we look at the Steam listing we can see the following about the game. It’s a platform puzzle game similar to games like Inside and Limbo. The description says “A young girl and her loyal friend embark on a rescue mission through a colorful world full of cold machines and unfamiliar creatures. Planet of Lana is a cinematic puzzle adventure framed by an epic sci-fi saga that stretches across centuries and galaxies”.
The Key Features Include
- Unique companion-based gameplay.
- Solve puzzles with diverse challenges and quirky twists.
- Carefully navigate dangerous situations using stealth and wit.
- Use your reflexes and survive challenging action sequences.
- Discover an epic story that stretches across galaxies and centuries.
Planet Of Lana – When Can We Play It
As we know, it’s headed for the Xbox. It has also been confirmed that it will be available on day one of the Xbox Game Pass service. This is confirmed in the latest trailer, which is also available on the Xbox YouTube channel and can be seen below.
However, in addition to the trailer confirming it will be available on Game Pass, we also learn the date of release. Those who are eager to play Lana’s Adventures have good news that it will arrive quickly. As a result, with a release date of May 23, we are currently just over two weeks away.
