Fortnite is having another exciting crossover with Rocket League. Players will be able to unlock certain items to use in Fortnite.

Starting today and ending on December 3rd. Players will be able to find an Octane car from Rocket League around the island. Don’t know what this car is capable of? Here’s a description from the Fortnite blog.

Octane is unlike any other vehicle you’ll find in Fortnite. This rocket-powered car is capable of boosting to supersonic speeds, climbing up walls, and even flying! In the air, Octane can perform acrobatic stunts like double jumping and dodging to get across rugged terrain quickly. With a bit of practice, these moves can easily outmaneuver entire squads — just don’t run out of boost! – Fortnite blog

Players will be rewarded with XP when they complete these Rocket League quests. After players complete eight quests they will unlock some cool items to wear. That goes from Octane Smash Spray to different skateboard back bling. Players will also be able to find something special in Rocket League. You do need to finish all eight quests in Fortnite to unlock those items in Rocket League. The main item is the Whiplash car that players will be able to enjoy.

Each game is free to play and both have in-game purchases. Be aware that these cosmetic items have no effect on the actual gameplay. They are just for show.
