KOEI TECMO’s upcoming JRPG, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, received a new trailer today showing off some flashy combat and snippets of the adventure that awaits players when the title releases on March 21,2025. Included in the trailer is a sneak peak of some of the artwork by beloved artist, Benitama.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will treat players to a story seeing Yumia Liessfeldt and her companions unraveling the mystery behind the cataclysm that destroyed the continent of Aladiss which resulted in alchemy becoming taboo. Players familiar with the Atelier franchise’s signature synthesizing system will feel right at home here. However, there will be a few surprises as well. Players will need to manipulate “mana” to create items that will aid them on their journey. To create more powerful items, players will be tasked with mastering the art of “Resonance Synthesis.”
Combat has also seen an overhaul in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. Combat is now in real time featuring skills available to active team members. And compared to previous titles, players can change out party members at any point during fights. Players can perform combos with party members and unleash devastating moves with “Mana Surge.”
As Yumia and her companions journey into the world, the player will experience a grand open world of the Aladiss continent and build personal bases along the way. Thanks to a building feature, players will be able to fully customize their atelier with different furniture and décor. At their atelier, players will be able to unlock comfort bonuses that will aid them in battles and in their travels. Along with the atelier, players will be able to camp in the world and cook during downtime.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will be available March 21, 2025 on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Windows PC via Steam® and, for the first time in franchise history, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Everyone who purchases either a physical or digital edition up to two weeks after release will receive the “Athlete of Memories” early purchase costume for Yumia, the “Floating Object of Memories” costume for Flammi, and the unique “Training Wrist Weight” equipment.
In addition to the standard edition, players can pre-order a special physical edition exclusively through the NIS America Store. The PREMIUM BOX includes the base game, Yumia’s precious stuffed animal, an artbook, a set of 6 decorative keychains, a CD with extra tracks, and an official short story and accompanying translation booklet.
