Carnage Makes Its Way To Starship Troopers: Extermination Three Upcoming Indies From Dune: Awakening, An Alternate Timeline & MMO A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Brings The Franchise To Gamers Dysmantle – An Underrated Survival Game That Needs Played

Back in 2020, Sicker Punch introduced us to the land of Tsushima with the PlayStation-exclusive Ghost of Tsushima. The game was considered a success and a year later was upgraded for PlayStation 5 and given an expansion set on Iki Island. When the game originally launched I saw nothing taking my personal game of the year from Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us Part 2. Then I played Ghost of Tsushima and was immediately changing my choice.

A few months before the expansion we saw rumors of a sequel thanks to job listings at the developer. Though looking back now, we don’t know if it’s the expansion the listings were for or a sequel. A sequel would not be an unexpected move due to the popularity of the original game. Fans also would love to see another outing for Jin Sakai to return. It’s a wish I throw support to as Ghost of Tsushima was not only my game of the year that year but one of the highlights of the last generation alone.

Could Jin Sakai Be Making A Return

A job listing at Sucker Punch for a senior encounter designer is specific in responsibilities. The successful candidate needs to “Deliver interesting and varied encounters in an open world game, with a particular focus on melee combat and stealth.” Though it doesn’t mean we are getting Ghost of Tsushima 2, it fits the bill. Previous listings required knowledge of feudal Japan and knowledge of Sucker Punch games. For now, it’s all speculation and if the listings are for a sequel, we will be some way from a reveal. However, what are your thoughts on this news? Were you a fan of the original game? As always we’d love to hear from you.
