In case you missed it, we are only days away from the release of the upcoming Harry Potter and the magical world around the historic franchise action RPG game. Hogwarts Legacy is developed by Portkey Games and published by Warner Bros. There is a new launch trailer for you and all the important release information. This includes when the game is released and when the Deluxe Edition’s early access is available. More importantly, what time you can play depending on where you live. Many thanks to Pure Xbox for putting all of this information together. It seems all console details are the same, Steam just says five days time as we have no separate listing for the deluxe edition. The Epic Store just stated the release date for each edition, which matches the console equivalent.
We don’t get anything new from the launch trailer, but we did get a good look at gameplay back in December; this is also where we saw the open world, among other things. If you wish to view this it can be found here. This is a cross-generational title that is also coming to the Nintendo Switch. According to pre-order links on the official website, this is the final platform to receive the game, with a current release date of July 27. For the Switch, here in the UK, I was directed to GAME. Whatever platform you choose, you’ll have plenty to keep you going with over a hundred side quests.
When Exactly We Can Jump Into The World Of Hogwarts
For those on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you have a while to wait but it is not as long as those on Nintendo Switch. The last-gen versions were delayed until April 4th. If you buy the digital deluxe, however, you get them automatically at launch. For current-gen hardware, we have two editions. One is the standard edition, available on February 10th or if you paid a little more money and grabbed the Digital Deluxe, it has 3 days early access. That means your wizarding journey can commence on the 7th of February. In terms of when the game is playable, see the picture below:

It’s midnight local time for both standard and digital deluxe. For the UK, the review embargo is said to lift 12 hours before the game’s early access launch. Though for New Zealand, that’s after the launch of the digital deluxe edition. Gaming Intel is the source of this information.
