So, were you a fan of the Evil Dead game? It was published by Saber Interactive and developed by Boss Team Games. Unfortunately, just over a year after its launch in 2022, support was ended for the game. However, it seems Boss Team Games is bringing us another famous horror franchise. It’s a horror film series that has been adapted for gamers before, although that release came back in 1983 with Halloween.
Yes, it seems the John Carpenter franchise that began way back in 1978 is being adapted once more. Also we have not one but two Halloween games on the way as revealed by IGN. We have very little information to go off at the moment. We do know that “both games are apparently being developed in conjunction” with the producers of the films. Not only that, one of the games is taking advantage of Unreal Engine 5 and will have input from the original director of the film John Carpenter.

What Else We Know About The Halloween Games
Well in fact there is very little information. The article by IGN has a quote from John Carpenter himself. He states that he’s a gamer himself he’s ” thrilled to help bring Michael Myers to life again in this game” and aims to scare us silly in the process. The article adds that we will be able to relive moments from the original 1978 film and also play as one of the characters in the film. Also both the upcoming games are being “developed in association with Compass International Pictures and Further Front”. We also get told the Unreal Engine 5 project is still in early development. As to how the games will play we also don’t know. If interested the game’s official website will be worth keeping an eye on further updates.
