We recently wrote about Rockstar having something else in the works other than the anticipated GTA 6. Since that time we have seen a tone of updates regarding GTA V and GTA Online. Usually, it’s new content for GTA Online but this time we have seen a major console update. This update seemingly added ray-traced reflections as reported in an article by Techspot. We have a trailer below showing Rockstar is still working to get the best out of GTA V. We also recently had the release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on Steam finally. The rightfully much-criticized at-launch trilogy is now readily available for everyone across the board. We could be forgiven for thinking that the launch of GTA 6 would not be soon and the rumored medieval project would be a while off and we’d not see anything unexpected GTA wise. Except Instagram throws everything up in the air with talks about the classic GTA Vice City.
You may be wondering, how on earth Instagram and even GTA Vice City might be affecting any Rockstar related news. We know the game is part of the GTA Trilogy and we already know it’s on Steam and the trilogy is now available on the Epic store. It would be unusual to update only part of the trilogy unless it had major problems. Also, Vice City getting an Instagram post and nothing by Rockstar themselves is indeed interesting. We know Rockstar is busy creating the next worlds for us to dive into, but are they too busy to update fans? Especially if there is something wrong with a product.
GTA Vice City – The Story With Instagram
Well, let’s look at the Instagram post. It’s by 50 Cent himself and the reference to Vice City is hard to miss with the logo on the post.

It’s definitely referring to the GTA release. I looked at the official website to compare the cover art from the trilogy and it’s the same color and font. If we look at the cover art from the PlayStation 2 box we see even more of a similarity.
His post states that he will explain this all later and put an interesting reference at the end. “This shit is bigger than POWER trust me”. For those unaware Power is a very successful crime drama. It takes no guesses to know who stars in and executive produces the show. Could we be seeing a new drama from the team behind Power just called Vice City, based on the game? It is just a wait-and-see at this point in time.
