Occasionally, a piece of gaming news emerges unexpectedly, instantly captivating my attention. Recently, the announcement of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the confirmed sequel from Warhorse Studios, piqued my interest. As an avid fan of action RPGs and the original game, this news was a significant positive development for me. Additionally, my love for tactical shooters means games like Rainbow Six Siege and Insurgency Sandstorm have caught my eye, with Pure Xbox reporting on Gray Zone Warfare.

Gray Zone Warfare, an extraction shooter confirmed for Steam and currently available for wishlisting, might also be coming to Xbox, according to Pure Xbox’s article. However, it’s important to note that at the time of writing, the game is listed as an early-access title on Steam. This could mean that any console ports might require PlayStation owners to wait. Naturally, none of these details have been officially confirmed yet.

Gray Zone Warfare Console News – Could It Happen

The article mentioned an interview with Game Rant and Madfinger’s Marek Rabas who is the game’s creative director. If you wish to read the full interview, that can be found here, though Xbox owners will be more interested in the questions of the ports to other platforms.

Q: Have you any plans to bring Gray Zone Warfare to consoles with cross-play support in the future?

A: We are planning it, you know. We want to support consoles. We won’t do it immediately because we need to stabilize it first. We need to do everything on the PC, do the first updates on the PC, and if the game will be suitable to put on consoles, we will do it. Even during the Early Access, we will try to do Early Access on the consoles. Because I love consoles, I play a lot on them. I think it’s a big space there. There are not so many tactical shooters there.

So it has a good chance if it’s possible to arrive on consoles at some point in the future. As for what the game is about I’ll refer back to the Steam listing.
