The next-gen versions of Grand Theft Auto Five is out and it’s had a fairly positive reception from those who purchased. Helped from the fact we saw current technology pushing a near ten-year-old game to its limits. However, the limited time price point has also helped.
Going back to the price point, we know it’s available until 14th June. But Grand Theft Auto Five for next-gen, this limited-time price point can also upset fans and this is most likely when broken down an issue on Sony’s side as it’s only affecting PlayStation users. But to explain why it’s caused a problem we need to dig a little further.
Grand Theft Auto Five. What Is The Problem
The upgraded version of the game hasn’t been found on the web-based store for PlayStation. This is unusual as PlayStation 5 games are available on there. Now it seems we have only one way to purchase the upgrade. And that is to get it directly from a PlayStation 5 console. It’s an odd choice especially when you can access the other titles for the PlayStation 5.
So if you haven’t been able to buy the PlayStation 5 and are planning on doing so when it’s more readily available you have to wait. You won’t be able to buy this anywhere other than a PlayStation 5 console at the time of writing. Therefore this could mean you may have to pay the full price. Especially if you’re finding the console still hard to come by. It’s not a decision that makes sense as it’s only Sony with these barriers. However, what do you think this news means? It’s interesting Xbox users aren’t hit with this issue.
