If you’ve been following gaming news, you’ll be aware of the Xbox Developer Direct event next week. Games confirmed to be at the event are The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall. Starfield will not make an appearance however, it’s getting its own showcase later on. The official announcement stated “the latest info for Xbox games launching in the next few months.” One title not mentioned but we know is confirmed to be coming not only to Xbox but to the Nintendo Switch is GoldenEye.

The remaster for GoldenEye was finally confirmed at the September Nintendo Direct. We know there are some differences between the two versions. The main difference is how the multiplayer will be set up. We haven’t heard anything since Nintendo’s presentation meaning fans are still awaiting a date they can play it. This after waiting for ages for the game to be confirmed when it seemed obvious it existed.

When We Could See GoldenEye

TwistedVoxel is one of a few sites reporting a rumored release window. If this is correct, it does not appear that fans will have to wait very long. The story came from a Twitter user by the name of eXtas1st. According to the article, they have previously leaked information about Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard. They stated that the game could be added to Xbox Game Pass by the end of the month. Currently, it is said to be only available to digital owners of Rare Replay. Of course, this is only a rumor so take this news lightly. As always what are your thoughts on this story? Whatever you think, why not get in touch and share your views? We’d love to hear them.
