GoldenEye 007 is a game that has huge popularity back from its launch on the Nintendo 64. It’s a game fans have for years wanted back but other than a remake of sorts that was canceled it has never seen the light of day since. So with the recent discovery of achievements being found fans are excited once more, but what next?

I think that Microsoft is going to be the one to announce that first. I think this game is probably coming pretty soon, I’m thinking next couple of weeks.
The return of GoldenEye?
We’ve also seen that on that original discovery achievements have been unlocked so presumably by developers at Rare or whoever is involved in this. The game is also no longer banned in Germany. The restrictions were lifted a year before the 25-year expiration which meant that after 25 years it would naturally have been removed from the list of banned titles. Would the earlier removal tie in with a port or remaster? We are yet to hear from Microsoft or Rare on this news.
