PlayStation has already started 2022 strong with the releases of Horizon Forbidden West & Gran Turismo 7. Both titles reviewed great and have PlayStation users excited for what’s next to come. And that next looks to be God of War Ragnarok.
Sony has yet to reveal when God of War Ragnarok is officially set to release. However, back in December, a placeholder appeared in the PlayStation store database with a release date of 30th September, which is a very realistic date.
THE CHANCE OF A GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK RELEASE DATE INCOMING
Once more Sony has kept tight-lipped on the release of this very much eagerly awaited sequel. Nonetheless, another leak has appeared with a completely different date to the one we heard about just over a couple of months ago. JuegosDigitales, a Chilean gaming store is the latest source to leak a potential release date.
They advertise the game with a clear and concise June 2022 release date. However please note this isn’t a guaranteed release date. That comes when Sony provides the relevant information, which as yet we are still eagerly awaiting. And with two potential release dates out in the wild, it’s very much anyone’s guess when we get to see the next part of the journey of Kratos and Atreus
WHERE WE STAND AT THE MOMENT
This store leak differed greatly from the date we saw last year. And it’s less precise as we only have June this year as opposed to a date. However, this could be the store’s placeholder. On Reddit, Jason Schreier shot down notions of the title being pushed back to next year.
It’s a feeling that describes the hopes of God of Wars many fans. The 2018 release was a phenomenal success and in the eyes of many, close to perfection. With this in mind, how can Santa Monica push the boat out even more?
