So you got an Xbox for Xmas or maybe a new PC. Well, we have some suggested games for you and games coming soon to look forward to. Most of these are playable on an Xbox or even PC. We also recommend subscribing to that platform’s subscription service. Of course, that’s PlayStation Plus in one of its tiers on a Sony console. However for the purposes of this that would be Game Pass Ultimate. That also includes Xbox Live and the EA Play service. So let’s look at why you should invest in Game Pass.

Firstly for the ultimate subscription you get a ton of games included in the service including games in EA Play that are free at no extra cost. You also get first-party games. Microsoft and selected third-party games on day one. Let’s look at what’s available before we even look to the year ahead for Game Pass Ultimate. We have titles like Gears 5, Battlefield 2042, Forza Horizon 5, A Plague Tale Requiem, and High on Life. Other additions are the recent Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga and trials for Need for Speed Unbound.

What’s Coming For Game Pass Ultimate

That’s not all, if you subscribe there is a vast array of games coming over the next twelve months. All this is from the information that is available at the time of writing. So let’s look at games coming throughout 2023

That’s Not All For Game Pass Subscribers

There are also a huge selection of titles with just a 2023 release window. Consequently, the price of Game Pass could increase depending on how Microsoft sees profit in 2023. This could be heavily weighed on if Microsoft is able to complete its purchase of Activision Blizzard. At the present time, this is still being discussed and has been a very present story in media circles.

Until we get a decision, it’s hard to list the titles available. However, if all goes through smoothly, we could see this list increase by a decent amount. Furthermore, in all likelihood, a bunch of games will be added. For example, let’s say Hellblade 2 gets a holiday 2023 release date, that would launch day 1 into the service.
