The newest title from Square Enix has had the news week. Earlier this week came the announcement from the Forspoken official twitter account, that the game would be delayed till October. But, during PlayStation’ latest State Of Play Forspoken gets a new trailer showing off its updated combat.

During the 20 minute showcase, fans were given a new trailer for the upcoming game. And the game looks much smoother than it did before. Along with it, the trailer shows more of the open-world parkour and traversal. But the nicest part of the trailer was seeing the fact that the magic combat was on full display.

And it is looking quite exceptional. The combat shows her fighting all sorts of dragons, demons, and humanoid-like enemies. The movement has been one of the game’s biggest criticisms since its reveal. However, now it seems that movement is significantly more fluid and stylish. From Frey’s acrobatic style twists and flips in the air; to being able to create a surfboard to skim and traverse water. And in an instant being able to flip into combat almost instantly.

Needless to say, the time since its last showing has already done wonders for the game. So with a few more months, we will need to wait and see. But as you can see from the trailer above, this new IP is shaping up to be a good one.

Let us know what you all thought now that Forspoken gets new a trailer during the State of Play event. Are y’all looking forward to it; or is it still something that you’ll pass on?

Forspoken will launch on October 11th For PC on Steam and Windows Store, & Will be launching on PS5 as a console exclusive.
