Back in June of 2015 PlayStation gamers everywhere screamed in excitement when Final Fantasy 7 remake was announced. FF7 for many reasons is a fan favorite in the franchise. However, many gamers including those on Xbox, PC, & Nintendo were met with sadness as this highly anticipated game was set to be an exclusive title for one year after release. With that one year of exclusivity coming to an end, we may finally see Final Fantasy 7 Remake For Xbox soon.

Releasing on April 10th, 2020 on the Ps4 & Ps4 Pro, the exclusivity deal is set to expire this year. As of today, there is still no concrete proof that Final Fantasy 7 Remake will 100% arrive on the Xbox platform. It could very well only release on PC and/or Nintendo Switch. However, it is a safe bet as Square Enix has released an assortment of older Final Fantasy games for the first time on the platform via Xbox Game Pass. In fact, other than the FF7 remake the only major Final Fantasy game yet to be released on Xbox is Final Fantasy XIV Online, which is also set to release at some point on the platform.
With no real solid on the release date for the title on other platforms, we are stuck in a bit of limbo for the next 2 months. If, and more likely, when FF7 remake releases on Xbox, players on the console should seriously consider buying the title as this is a sure way to show Square Enix that Xbox gamers are worth the time and effort to port the title over.
