FIFA 23 And What’s Changed

If we look at the PlayStation blog, it goes into what to expect for the newest title. The game is powered by Hypermotion 2. This is what the blog says

One of the main focuses of FIFA 23 is to mold it into the most authentic entry in the series ever. To do this, EA has advanced its HyperMotion 2 motion capture system to make players seem more lifelike than before. The captured data with this system brings over 6,000 realistic animations from real match captures to the game. Players now run, kick, and block with such true-to-life movements that it may even make you forget you’re playing a football videogame.

However that’s not all that’s new we also see new modes available

Coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 with crossplay 1-v-1 modes between versions, FIFA 23 brings innovations never seen in the world of videogame football, whether you’re on a pitch or behind the scenes making various decisions in career mode. This FIFA is stepping it up and showcasing EA’s growth with the series, featuring upgraded physics, graphics, and for the first time, women’s club football integration, including a playable women’s FIFA World Cup.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition with Kylian Mbappe and Sam Kerr

FIFA 23 is the first in the series to feature cross play multi generation hardware. The cover stars this year are France and PSG star Kylian Mbappe. Also as we see above, the Ultimate Edition shares the cover with the first female player to feature on an international cover. Australia and Chelsea star Sam Kerr.

The Women’s League Coming To FIFA

The women’s league certainly is coming to FIFA 23, English Premier League champions Manchester City themselves have posted confirming this. So far we have the English Women’s Super League as well the Division 1 Arkema in France when it launches. Therefore could this leave scope for more to be added? A post launch update adds free both the men and women’s FIFA World Cup tournaments. For the men that should have been this Summer alongside the Women’s European Championships. With it being in Qatar it commences 21st November with the final on 18th December. The women’s event is next Summer in Australia and new Zealand starting 20th July and the final on 20th August. Therefore that’s a rough indication of when the update could drop.
