Because Baron and Johnny didn’t have a live show this past Sunday, they played some pre-recorded gold. The strange thing is that both were working on reviews at the same time. One was farming and looking for water, while the other was battling hordes of space evil. Johnny, unsurprisingly, had more fun. Now, while Baron had a good time, let’s be honest: his in-game squabble skills aren’t the best, especially in souls lite games.
The majority of this episode is about Johnnyman’s experiences in Pathea Games’ upcoming early access game, My Time At Sandrock. The build he was able to play did not represent the full experience that will be available once the game goes live. He did, however, have high praise for the series’ second installment. The first title, My Time At Portia, is one in which Johnny has spent many hours and has little to complain about. He also discusses how many quality-of-life adjustments have been made in this game. Including the way farming in Sandrock is streamlined.

On the other hand, Baron is being pummeled by space insects and powerful fireball-launching aliens. Dolmen is unquestionably a mash-up of sci-fi horror and the soulsborne experience. There are a lot of tentacles and shadow creatures. It’s not the best in the genre, but it has a good amount of crafting, and Baron enjoys crafting. Look forward to seeing a review soon from him.
