The Elder Scrolls Online, also known as ESO, dropped a monster update to the base game. Update 44 heavily focuses on the games PvP. The meaty update includes 4v4 & 8v8 PvP Battlegrounds, seven new PvP Battlegrounds maps, Power-ups in Battlegrounds, and six new PvP item sets. The most notable changes were in the Battlegrounds. Before the update, the PvP was in a 4v4v4 format. After Update 44, which is live now, you’ll find a new 4v4 and 8v8 format moving forward.

Additional features include HDR support for PC players, Bonus PvP perks for ESO Plus members, new grimoire, scripts, skill styles, and companions. The update is free to all players, however, you’ll need to be an ESO Plus member or make a purchase through the Crown Store to acquire the new companions. Update 44 is available now and automatically downloaded yesterday if you are on PC, Mac, Steam, and The Epic Games Store. The update will be available November 13 for console players.

All of this and more is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
