Fifa 23 is on the way and as we know it’s the final game in the EA FIFA series. This came as no shock as we brought you news of the relationship between EA and FIFA becoming fractured back in February. FIFA for the sport is s big thing, they are the world’s governing body. This fallout led to the EA FIFA series ending this year.

We know it’s running on the upgraded Hypermotion 2 technology and the closed beta is available now. As usual, it has more than one edition. We have the standard for each system. Though for consoles, each generation is a separate edition. Meaning you can’t get the Series X upgraded version if you purchase the Xbox One Editon for example. We also have the Ultimate Edition. EA FIFA 23 game is available to preorder now and that’s the interesting point

The Final EA FIFA Has Been Costly For EA

If you’re wondering how we’ll bring to your attention information reported to PC Gamer. It seems the game was available to order on the Epic Game Store in India. However, someone made a huge error as the Ultimate Edition went on sale for 4.80 rupees. That is a costly error as that’s about $0.06 or £0.05.

The price for the Ultimate Edition should have come out at 4,799 INR. Basically, it’s a 99.98% discount. PC Gamer says the response from EA

A few weeks back, we scored a pretty spectacular own-goal when we inadvertently offered FIFA 23 pre-purchase on the Epic Games Store at an incorrect price. It was our mistake, and we wanted to let you know that we’ll be honoring all pre-purchases made at that price.

So were you lucky enough to grab it whilst it was accidentally at this price point? If you did we’d love to hear from you.
