Not that long ago I looked at some lesser-known horror titles with some offering a unique take. Autopsy Simulator was one and another was Dredge. The second one here to refresh your memory I described as a game where you: “Captain your fishing trawler to explore remote isles and their surrounding depths to discover what lies beneath. You can sell your catch to locals, complete quests, and learn more about each area’s troubled past. The game also offers an option to equip your boat with better equipment to trawl deep-sea trenches and navigate to far-off lands, but be careful as you navigate the dark waters as there may be something unseen lurking around”. So if this interests you then fear not, it’s coming soon to all platforms
You can pre-order Dredge right now. On the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and Steam we see a standard and deluxe edition. For the Nintendo Switch, least in the UK the eshop only offers one edition. However, the Switch listing offers another option that isn’t available for users on Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation. The eshop offers the opportunity to download a demo of the game. We also have details of what comes in each edition of the game as well as a new trailer which can be seen below.
Dredge The Additional Info
The game as we said has more than one edition except on Switch in the UK which has one price point. For the US the Switch get’s both a standard and digital deluxe edition. You can also buy a Blackstone Key separately. The key is also part of the digital deluxe editions. According to Eurogamer, the physical copy “includes a physical poster, a “meticulously crafted artbook and sticker set”, a digital soundtrack, and “additional in-game items to help players kick-start their sea-faring adventures”. So will you be looking at picking this up on 30th March? As always we love hearing your thoughts.
