Dragon Quest 1&2 HD-2D Launching in October

One of the best times of year, Dragon Quest Day, has come and gone. But Square Enix did not leave players empty handed. As the HD-2D remakes for Dragon Quest 1&2 have finally received a release date. The games will be launching on October 30th, and will be bundled together. This makes sense considering the first Dragon Quest is a very small experience in comparison to the second and third installments. Here is everything you need to know about the remake, its collector’s edition’s and how much it costs!

All Details on Dragon Quest 1&2 HD-2D Remake

As stated before, the games will launch on October 30th. They will be available on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1|2. The original version for both games will be $59.99 USD. You can either preorder them digitally on the storefronts below:

Or find links to preorder them physically through the Square Enix store here.

There will also be a collectors edition for the games for $149.99 USD. Details can be found in the official post from the game series X account here.

The original versions of Dragon Quest 1, 2, and 3 go on sale regularly on the Nintendo Eshop. At the discounted prices, they will not cost you more than $14.99 USD and are well worth the playthrough. There is also a HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest 3 that is currently on sale for 25% off too. I can attest to all three experiences being worth the time and money.
