So it’s no secret we are getting a new Dragon Age game. We also have the confirmed title for Dragon Age 4 which was confirmed last Summer. As to when the Dreadwolf will appear we have yet to get any confirmation from EA or Bioware. It’s been nearly a decade since the last game launched. That was Dragon Age Inquisition back in 2014. That followed Dragon Age 2 in 2011 and the original Dragon Age Origins back in 2009. However recently the original games creator spoke about that game just recently.
So what could David Gaider have to say about 2009 original? Why does Dragon Age Origins suddenly become a talking point? Especially with the focus from Bioware with that franchise being Dragon Age 4. Well, Gaider posted something on Twitter which may have fans interested. He spoke about how “The graphics were behind the curve even at the time of release”. Gaider no longer works with Bioware but he feels that EA should take another look at his popular RPG.
Dragon Age Origins Set For A Return
He has a point, EA brought back Dead Space to a degree of success and is considering remaking the other two games. Capcom remade several Resident Evil titles. However, if you agreed with the decision, Naughty Dog remade The Last of Us in the form of The Last of Us Part 1. That game originally launched several years after Gaider’s title. Gaider said that “If we’re on a kick re-mastering games from the aughts, what about Dragon Age Origins? Its graphics were behind the curve even at the time of release… can you imagine it with brand new PS5-era bells and whistles?”. Though it seems he’s not confident of this happening.
The response to his wish was a positive one but Gaider as we see isn’t hopeful. However what about you? Would you want this remade? As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts so why not get in touch and share your views?
