Dragon Age 4 Could Launch Towards The End of 2023

We’ve had a pretty busy period rumor-wise. A game we are beginning to hear more about is the upcoming Dragon Age 4. A franchise we’ve seen nothing from since Dragon Age Inquisition.

During The Game Awards 2020, there was confirmation the game was real when we saw the cinematic trailer. However last year’s EA Play Live didn’t feature the game at all and we’ve not heard anything in a while now. The reason for it not appearing during EA Play appearance was due to them not wanting to share updates until “the time is right”. This was posted by the game’s executive producer Christian Dailey on Twitter.

Where Is Dragon Age 4?

Jeff Grubb spoke about the game on the latest episode of Giant Bomb “GrubbSnax” podcast. What this states is Dragon Age 4 is on schedule and could launch at the earliest later on next year. TheGamer had also heard a similar release window for Dragon Age 4. So hopefully Bioware pull out all the stops and keep on track with development and deliver a product the fans are waiting for.

But be aware as in the gaming industry this can easily change. TheGamer also added this warning that 2023 is the earliest release date. Therefore the game could easily be pushed into 2024. This could easily happen with this game likely being large in scope, so it wouldn’t be a shock to see the game miss 2023 and receive a 2024 launch. It seems from a post on Twitter by Faizan Shaikh, it won’t launch on last-gen hardware either.
