The Disney brand often gets interesting cross-overs with games most famously, Kingdom Hearts. How many RPGs can you have action-based combat supported by the likes of Donald Duck. There’s even the Life sim which Game Pass members got early access to known as Dreamlight Valley. How about combat-based kart racing? Picture a Mario Kart-style game with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Then you won’t be far off what Disney Speedstorm is all about.
Disney Speedstorm was announced last year and features various characters from the Disney and Pixar franchises. So in the brand new trailer, we see Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc for example and we have the likes of Mulan as well. It will be a free-to-play game but the official website tells us the early access release date is the 18th of April. So who will be appearing in this kart racer? Nintendo Life gave us a list of characters so far.
