Discord For PlayStation 5 Out Now

Just last month we told you about how PlayStation 5 beta users are getting access to the Discord service on their consoles. Oddly it’s not available on PlayStation 4. Especially when the Xbox version of the service is on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It is a fantastic application that is well-known in the PC community. I use it myself on a laptop, my Xbox, and my phone and it’s an easy-to-use program. However, we are yet to hear what the latest is on Discord for PlayStation 5 for everyone.

Tom. Henderson is a known industry insider. He’s leaked details on n Battlefield, Modern Warfare 2, and the remake of The Last of Us before. Now he’s got information regarding PlayStation and the integration of Discord on the console.

And just like that, the release date of 7.00 gets updated to March 8th, 2023. 🤭

Version 6.00 is September 7th, 2022.

So Discord integration on the PS5 is March 8th, 2023 (if nothing else changes).

And with a PlayStation update today we found the information was indeed correct. Are you currently using the service on another device? For those on PlayStation 4, what are your thoughts on no integration for your console? The Xbox version seems to work fairly well and after beta testing, I expect a solid debut now it has hit PlayStation.
