Digiphile, the California Digital Games store, has pulled up a big bundle on offer for fans of RTS games—featuring seven PC titles with a few Indies to round out the package. This RTS Renaissance Collection is available for as low as $22 and lasts until September 2nd, so get it while it’s available.
Dungeons 4
A well-established RTS series has its latest release leading the bundle, mixing dungeon management and RTS battles to mix up the gameplay loop. Build a perfect dungeon for your minions to wind down and warm up, while you keep all those pesky heroes at bay and gear up for some overworld pillaging.
Godsworn
An indie feature that boasts some classic Warcraft graphics to scratch that nostalgia itch while tossing in some mythological deities to spice things up. The main draw for this one is the robust campaign featuring full voice acting and a story about pagan gods fighting for their place against the crusaders.
Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition
In the spirit of Crusaders, Stronghold Crusader is also included, focusing less on mythologies and more on the histories of many desert skirmishes in this expanded version of the title. Featuring new playable units, new lords, larger maps, and plenty of quality-of-life adjustments, this should be a fine addition to any collection.
The Scouring
A faster-paced RTS game that focuses on the classic trope of humans vs. orcs, this one features a hero system to change the pace of the battle with abilities to help you dominate the battlefield while your workers busy themselves with menial tasks. You’ve got a war to win after all.
Rogue Command
A single-player title that pulls in roguelite elements to change the direction of your play, with every battle offering upgrade choices. A much more simple offering for RTS fans and another indie title for those looking to support smaller devs
9 Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far
A jarring departure from the mythologized and historical offerings in this bundle, 9 Bit Armies focuses on a more modern setting with one big key note: Everything is rendered in explosive and crunchy voxels that offer more charm. This indie title is developed by some of the original Command and Conquer developers and pulls in their roots.
From Glory to Goo
A science fiction double feature that holds something for both RTS fans and old-school base builders. In this one, you are tasked with something more grandiose than simple warfare; players will have to establish a colony in a hostile world and hold out however long they can while sending support to colonists in orbit. It’ll take all you have to survive… The Goo.
As for the bundle, Digiphile states that 5% of each sale will go towards charity, The Arbor Day Foundation, with the option to put more in during purchase for the charity while getting some bonus rewards of artwork and game soundtracks. You’ve got just a few more days as of this writing to grab this bundle, so if you are looking for a nice addition to your library, check it out here!
