You should be made aware that a remake of one of the most popular games and franchises around is in the works. That game is Dead Space which was created by Glen Schofield. Ironically a game with a similar feel was potentially going toe to toe with the Dead Space Remake. That is The Callisto Protocol and Glen Schofield also has a hand in its development.
Well EA Motive has been given the task of giving gamers a fresh and modern take on a beloved title. They previously gave us Star Wars Squadrons and announced the Dead Space Remake last summer. According to IGN, the studio have been adjusting the game based on fan feedback.

When We Can Hope To See Dead Space

So as can we see from this, the game is not only launching next year but early next year and we have a release date.
Therefore the return of Isaac Clarke is pencilled in for 27th January 2023. However, nothing is set in stone. This may also soften the blow of Bethesda’s recent announcement of a delay to the eagerly awaited Starfield. It will also be interesting to see if the spiritual successor of sorts, The Callisto Protocol, comes out the same time.
