The indie darling roguelike Dead Cells just doesn’t stop when it comes to content. After it was previously revealed that it would be getting a new DLC crossover, with the mother of sidescrollers Castlevania. However, during Nintendos’ Direct the trailer for Dead Cells Return to Castlevania got a release date.
Everyone’s Favorite eyeball is back in the next DLC coming from one of the champions of roguelikes. Having already crossed over with many other Indie characters like Shovel Knight, Hollow Knight, Katana ZERO, Hotline Miami, Slay the Spire, and others; it was a wonder of who would be next if there was a next DLC.
However, now our hero is teaming up with series icons Richter and Alucard to defeat Death and Dracula himself. So players are able to prepare themselves as they unlock new powers and weapons based on the Castlevania franchise.
In the trailer, we see glimpses of some of the new weapons, such as Richters’ iconic flail. As well as we see the hero entering Dracula’s throne room. Adding an entire new map based an Dracula’s Castle is exciting to see.
Dead Cells Return to Castlevania will be launching on March 6th and is available for pre-order on Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store. It will also be launching on Playstation and Xbox platforms on the same day.
